MLDS Architects: Featured Project Highlights

Port Chester Shopping Center was originally built in 1950, and remains one of the larger shopping centers in the area. The Center has 525,000 sq. ft. of retail area and is comprised of an open air strip, three story building and a freestanding supermarket. The project included a new façade for the strip center and three story building to integrate the improvements done by a new tenant to give the center an overall aesthetic cohesion.

Architecture

Architecture is considered to be both the art and science of designing and building of structures. At the same time, design maintains a balance between aesthetics and functionality. Additionally it is of the utmost importance that the built environment maintain the health, safety and welfare of all persons for which it serves.
