Fifty years providing architectural, planning and design services.

The firm was established over 50 years ago, and maintained many clients & consultants for all of that time. We believe that quality of service and attention to our clients needs and quick response has helped in maintaining those long term relationships.

Our work includes such projects as commercial retail centers and power centers, office buildings and corporate interiors, multi-family buildings and alterations, as well as the many various items our clients have needed to operate their existing buildings.

During the past 50 years the firm has changed names to reflect the changes in partnership, the succession of which is noted below.

We take great pride in the work we do and the relationships we have formed with our clients and in being a part of developing their goals into reality.

Robert Stephenson, RA, Architect

Mr. Stephenson is a registered Architect with licenses in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Virginia and Louisiana. He is also a member of NCARB. Mr. Stephenson joined the firm in 1994 and advanced to partnership status in January of 2004.

Mario DiCocco, RA, Architect

Mr. DiCocco is a registered Architect in the State of New York and is a member of the N.C.A.R.B. In 1994, Mr. DiCocco was promoted to Office and Production Manager and advanced to partnership status in January of 2002.

Architecture

Architecture is considered to be both the art and science of designing and building of structures. At the same time, design maintains a balance between aesthetics and functionality. Additionally it is of the utmost importance that the built environment maintain the health, safety and welfare of all persons for which it serves. It is ultimately, through the combined efforts of the entire team, owner, architect and builder, that a project may become a reality.

Planning

Planning is an integral part of the building process. A successful project should incorporate thought in the various aspects of its scope. Each project has its own unique considerations that must be taken into account. It is in this planning process that the conclusions reached will have a significant impact on the direction the design of the project will take. The development of a project’s program, outlining its requirements and needs, will become the building blocks of the designing process.

Design

Design is a process by which a project is developed to reach its final form. This process analyzes a project’s program to discover the many various possibilities in achieving its goals. The collaboration of the owner and designer is essential in the sharing of ideas, goals, context and functions in the success of a project. A project may start as a simple parti or sketch and progress through the use of various designing techniques to develop into a presentation of the architect’s vision of the project.
